2004-2005 jgtc widebody kit 90% complete
These are some shots taken at the Modellista Designs meet earlier this month Limited Production of 19 kits world wide. $7400 msrp fiberglass dry carbon version will be available in the future @$12,000 Kit will be available through MVP motorsports. Kit is near to scale, pending measurements off a jgtc supra. This is not designed to be a kit for a car to daily drive although i'm sure you could, so i don't want to hear about how "i wouldn't put this kit on as my daily driver etc" This is a track/show oriented widebody capable of running 18x13's in the front (like the authentic jgtc's) we weren't able to cut the fender's as high as we wanted like the authentic jgtc car because of the different suspension geometry on the jgtc race cars but we did cut as high as we can and it will allow for 335/40/18's or bigger. This is not the finalized version as this is just the plug for the mold. expect to see 3 of these kits tearing up the road courses across the country come a couple months from now edit: fyi edges are not rounded yet for measurement purposes and fuel tank will be replaced w/ a fuel cell and side exhaust side diffuser is not pictured as it is still at the metal shop http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...c/dsc04150.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...c/dsc04155.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...c/dsc04151.jpg |

I'd like to see it in the final format. The fit doesn't look too good to me at the meoment. Modellista do a really nice CF lip spoiler and rear diffuser.

If they get the contours right it'll be nice, but it looks like they've just slapped some clay on the std body kit.
And what's going on with the bonnet corners by the windscreen ! |
Bonnet's been raised at the back to allow air to escape from the engine bay.
Maybe it's the 1930's photos not doing it any justice. |
