Well if you think it is the clutch then try it a couple more times just to be sure, there are also inspection covers on the bell housing.

Which one you go for really depends on the ultimate goals of your car. However don't be too quick to dismiss the stock setup as it is very good. A mild upgrade is to go for one of the stock based clutches with a pressure plate where it has been fettled to give slightly increased pressure. Plenty of suppliers of this type, TRD, RPS, Chris Wilson, Exedy.

Just be sure to budget on replacing the flywheel as well, as most of the time these are past their best as well and can't be re-surfaced easily.
