As has been mentioned, just turning up the boost without supporting mods can lead to problems, worse scenario being your turbo's or engine going bang.
It generally accepted that the BPU (basic performance upgrade) which consists of decats, restrictor ring on J-specs, fuel cut defender, colder spark plugs will achieve between 340-400BHP at 1.1-1.2bar depending on engine/intercooler condition etc.
Where as you may not notice much improvement in 0-60, the mid range power will be significantly better.
You get a noticeable surge at 4000RPM when the second turbo comes on line.
It is worth noting that most people like to replace there ageing fuel pumps with a new one just to be belt & braces as fuel running lean at higher boost levels is a sure way to end your day badly.
