I was also interested by these Ecotek valves when I first heard about them... at the time I decided to dig up anything I could find on the internet and came across mixed information, apart from the following:

It seems that pre 93/92 cars that ran with carburettors will definately benefit from these valves..... but when it comes to cars with O2 sensors and fuelling controlled by the ECU these valves can actually cause more problems with both performance and efficiency.

Although, I would like to see what would happen if you did fit an Ecotek vavle.....
