A few people contacted me to say they had never seen the forum terms & conditions, so i thought as way of reference we would add them into this announcements section.

Forum Terms & Conditions

General

• The forum is provided to encourage a community amongst owners and enthusiasts of the MKIV Toyota Supra and to assist with technical issues where possible.


• Remember that the moderators and technical gurus donate their time freely and are not on call to solve issues and provide answers instantly.


• Also remember that the forum is a real-time system and whilst the moderators will attempt to enforce the terms and conditions shown below there may sometimes be a delay.


• All messages express the views of the author, and neither the owners of MSOC (MKIV Supra Owners Club) or Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd. (developers of VBulletin) will be held responsible for the content of any message.


• The owners of MSOC can not be held responsible for any transactions that take place and/or problems relating to technical information given as a result of posts made on this forum.


• A moderator or administrator’s decision is final and non-negotiable at all times.
  
  
• These terms and conditions are subject to change at anytime and without prior warning.

Content

• You should only make posts that are considered appropriate for family viewing.


• Posts of an obscene, vulgar, pornographic, offensive, aggressive, racist or sexually orientated nature will be removed and may result in your forum rights being suspended or forfeit.


• Posts describing illegal activities, excluding motoring offences, will not be tolerated.


• The above three points include users avatars and signature pictures.


• If you post pictures try to compress them first and ensure that the resolution is no higher than 800x600 pixels.


• Files attached to a post should be no bigger than 100k.
  
  

New Users

• You must register with a valid email address to be able to post on the forum.


• Your email address will be validated and approval is at the administrators’ discretion.


• Before posting any questions please try to check that the information is not already contained within the forum by using the search function or the FAQ.


• If you do post questions that have previously been asked your thread may be closed or deleted.
  
  

All Users

• When creating new threads ensure that you choose the appropriate section to post in.


• Do not post the same thread or question in more than one area.


• Have some courtesy and respect for other users when making your posts and replies.


• When asking questions include as much information as possible, particularly concerning modifications or conditions surrounding a problem.


• Posts should be made in plain English and be as accurate as possible.


• If you are continually abusive or inflamatory to other users your account may be suspended or deleted.


• If you find a post offensive then use the ‘Report this post to a moderator’ link.


• You are encouraged to make full use of the PM (Private Messaging) system within the forum to contact individuals.


• Please refrain from posting full registration details of your own car or cars spotted.


• The use of basic signatures (Type, model, year basic mods) is encouraged.


• There is a specific traders policy in place within MSOC which can be found HERE


• Anyone advertising trade products on this forum who are not either an official trader or a recognised trader (as listed HERE) and without the prior consent of either a moderator or an administrator will be warned once, any links/email addresses will be removed immediately. Continual disregard of this policy will result in a termination of your account.


• The traders who are listed are FULL sponsors of this forum.  Anyone pursuing trade interests without an accompanying banner-ad/permission from the club will be treated as piggy-backing off official sponsors.


• By buying off unofficial trade advertisers, you are exposing yourselves to risk of engaging with potential scam traders. This has happened a lot on a number of forums and the availability of the internet makes some of the bedroom scams even easier to conduct.


• Please notify a moderator if you witness any unofficial trade activity, by doing so you are supporting both the forum and the current sponsors.

Group Buys

• Any individual is welcome to organize group buys, but should contact a moderator or administrator first to ensure no conflicts occur.
