OK,

I give up. I got me an auto box, yeah, I know I should have gone for the Manual one, but I couldn't afford it at the time.

So, Theres this button on the center piece next to the shifter. Whats that do then. I have pressed whil;e driving, and it seems to make no noticable difference at all.

Also, whats the smaller red button in front of the shifter with the Jap writing around it? I pressed that, and that does nothing as well!!

Hi

the maunual button does what it says. It allows you to choose the gear you want. L = 1st, 2 =2nd and D=3rd. i think it'll change to 4th when needed in D (don't quote me). Its also said that being in manu allows for a quicker gear change.

The red button is for emergencies, can move the gear stick without engine on or foot on brake.

Most have been covered on this site.

hope this helps

On a side note it's the first time for a long while since i needed this button but was definately nice to go forewards in snow rather than sideways
