Rear Brake Lights.
A quick quiry hear.
Whilst i was in the Supra convoy on Sunday day dreaming away i noticed that some cars had more brake lights come on that others for eg.. Some had 2 lights either pod plus the center boot light and others only 1 light per pod plus the center boot light. Is this one of the slight differances between the face lift model and the non face lift.? |

The differences may well have been some are UK vs. Jap Spec cars, and also how some of the Jap spec cars will have had their rear foglights wired up.

Hi Cass, with my car so that there was no unsightly added on foglight(s), the importer rewired the inner two so that they were fog lights.
Very easy to do. Other wise I to would have in total 5 brake lights. john |

Mine was rewired to use the middle strip. Not sure how effective this is as a fog light, but it passes the mot.

mine are wired in so the fog is the 2 inner lights, and the brake lights are the outer ones, but when the fog is off all four are brake lights.

At the moment I have a switch by my right knee that turns on the centre strip but when off the strip doesn't light from the brake pedal. If I can get it to light from the brake pedal and work as the fog that will do me as I don't give a **** about fog. |

Just follow this link, it tells you all you need to know...
Peter Betts fog lamp wiring. Then all you need to do is wire the centre brake light to your brake lights and you're done. |
