Hello!
Hello, happy new year and all that! Ive been having a moment reminiscing about the good old times and thought Id raise my head again on the forum. Only briefly though! Ive been having a flick through my old pics and realised how much I miss the Supra! Hehe!
Hope everyones well. Ive attached a couple of pics of my most recent project. It involved a long and painful, single handed refurbishment of a wreck of a house which we bought! It seemed like a good idea at the time! I traded the Type R about 12 months ago and got myself a 320TD. Bad idea. After a new clutch and fly, failed turbo and subsequent complete engine rebuild, I realised I shouldve kept the trusty reliable Civic! Haha. Oh well, live and learn. |

Yeah, do those heels fit you Rob?
Good to hear from you, and sounds like you're keeping yourself busy.

Ohh, the banter! How ive missed it!
Yep, ive ben keeping myself busy, out of trouble as they say! Weve just moved in after a long scrape and graft to get the place liveable. Ive got so much time on my hands though now! haha! Yeah the BMW was a bad idea, although it shifts (for a diesel) and is rear wheel drive which maintains a littl bit of fun in the sdaily commute! Plus Ive just been having a chat with the chap that bought my Supe and it seems shes been perfectly reliable. Coming upto 150k and no issues other than a little oil leak on the back of the block. And shes been on a track day and down the strip! It wouldve saved me a hell of a lot of money keeping the Supe! Martin, the cars looking great! I had a quick browse through your album earlier. I trust your happy with her after all the work you put in? |

Yep, very happy although there's always things to do
I had a 320TD as my company car up until September and performance wise I was quite happy, also pretty reliable. Build quality was good, but not any better than a Toyota in my view. I now have an A4, admittedly a bit older (2003 vs. 2005 of the BMW) and I think the build quality on that is worse These German cars are certainly not all they are cracked up to be.
