Default Clonking noise from back left

as the title says, when going over uneven ground i get a clonking noise as if the exhaust has come adrift, but it hasn't. I have got the rear passenger wheel off but everthing seems solid????

Yeah, it's a common problem on those Jap spec cars

Did you check the drop link from the anti-roll bar?

Hey! leave the little Jap chaps alone.
I went for a drive to Malvern and on the way there it was raining and the noise stopped. I've put it down to a dry bush on the anti roll bar and the moisture lubricated it.
Crisis averted.

Should always keep your bush moist.

Try spraying WD40 on all the bushes, I have always found this to sort out dry bush squeeks etc.

Although a clonking sound possibly indicates something a little more than a dry bush (ohh err).
