Default howdy !!!

hello folks,

Great forum and I hope to spend plenty of time sifting through the tons of great info on here .

lucky enough to own a 1997 Jap 6 spd RZ TT .

Lads I'm on a mission straight away to identify a small hose coming from my ETCS and disappearing into the drivers front wing near the bulkhead.

The car has been sitting up for a few months and upon starting it I could a hiss from the drivers footwell...sounded like air leaking from somewhere..and that seems to be the case.

I found one end of the hose mentioned above perished and completely broken off when I pulled it out of the ope leading into the back of the front wing.
It starts of as a blue hose coming from the ETCS then has a small white coupling of some sort and a small black hose from there out ...seems to be clipped onto the throttle cable all the way into the back of the wing.

am hoping somebody can shine some light on this and goes as far as telling me how to get access to the other end of this broken hose.
from there i should be able to replace it.

i will try to attach some pics here...

Hi Keith and welcome !!

I suspect it is a hose for an aftermarket boost gauge. Do you have any aftermarket gauges in the car ? If not then you should be fine just removing it and blocking up any remaining hole.
