Would This Fit
Hi guys,
I am going to apologise in advance for this question which I'm sure I will get slated for...but if I was to buy some 17x7 alloys all round on the car would it be okay to put 215/40/17 on the front and 235/45/17 on the rear to keep the stagger? Would this work? Thanks |

I had 18 x 8's on my car and with two different size tyres on it it looked stupid.
Also you'l be running smaller than stock tyres + your side wall measurements are wrong (your 40 and 45 are backwards)...... Don't do it. There's a chart on here somewhere.

Okay I wont have different profile tyres.
Guess the main thing I am asking is can I have 7'' wide rims all round but make them staggered by having the tyre widths different? |

Toyota fitted staggered sizes for a good reason, most likely to bias more grip to the rear of the car.
Changing all wheels to the same size would be foolish IMO.

Would having wider tyres at the rear not provide enough of a stagger then?

Standard fitment on 17" wheels from the factory was 235x45x17 front and 255x40x17 at the rear.
The sizes you're looking at are smaller than that, so IMO not a good idea.

Ah right, didn't realise I was going smaller.
So would it be okay to those size tyres on alloys that are 17x7 all the way round? |

What width wheels those tyres can be fitted to will be in the full tyre technical specs.
But if you're intending to compromise your Supra's handling by fitting the same size wheels all the way round I suspect technical specs are of little interest to you

I don't want to compromise the handling of the supra.
If I want to stay at 17" alloys, what width alloys and tyres would I need? |

235x45x17 front on a 17x8
255x40x17 rear on a 17x9.5 That's stock. |
