Once again having relied on modern technology to communicate with people the 2zj-gte engine i was about to buy has been stripped of all its ancillaries (s/p) so im left with a bare engine and turbos if i still want it, hopefully at a discounted price.

How difficult is it gonna be to find an ECU (could go standalone i suppose) engine to ecu wiring harness, alternator, starter motor + others which i cant think of???

I'm pressuming the engine to ecu wiring harness is gonna be the hardest to find.
Any thoughts.

Note to self.....always use the phone and not to rely on emails

There are two, one of them looks like a load of earth wires, but the part numbers are :-

82122-14521 Wire Engine No2 (smaller one)
82121-14821 Wire Engine (larger one)

If you come across a UK spec car breaking i could do with the wiring loom in the engine bay for the lights and so on.

There will be a difference on the front engine room bay loom of a UK spec as it has height adjustable lights, wherease the Jap spec doesn't.

There will also be a difference on one of the looms (can't see which at the mo) to accomodate the air flow meter of the UK spec car.

Which loom you need depends mainly on which ECU you decide to use. Maybe better going for a Jap spec one because of higher availability and you won't need to try and find an air flow meter.
