Mate, on my Ex's NA, we binned all that shitty plastic piping with like you say to odd boxes and replaced with a shiny bling, bling pipe and filter. Only prob is your probably have to get a bling bit of pipe made yourself. I know the throttle body part is 3", and the one I had made went from 3" to 2.5" for the main body of the pipe, I'll see if I can find some pictures.......

EDITED: Thats all crap, was a while ago now, it started out as 3" pipe, as you can from the 1st pic its 3" in the middle and then is reduced to 2.5" at each end, why exactly now I cant fecking remember, but I dynod the car with the stock air box and then what that pipe and it made no difference what so ever, except you got a nice "suction" noise when planting the throttle quickly.....

Will probably go for the n/a-t conversion at some point because the time and money i've already spent on my n/a means i can't justify selling. Plus the n/a's just don't seem to sell at the moment, look at iceman's. Want to do small things for now and get it looking good, then look at a conversion.
