As the car hit the kerb, it spun round and mounted the embankment. I guess the twisting in the body shell caused the rear wing to split.

I had to rip the front bumper off to be able to drive the car home. It is still in one piece relatively speaking, but whether or not it is repairable is another question. No body panel damage as far as I can see.

Anyone have a spare bumper to get rid of since they did a bodykit upgrade? Cant afford a replacement Veilside right now.

amazing how much damage a badger can do, you mus be gutted.
I hit one last Sept, about 90 mph in an Avensis, all is did was crack the bumper behind the numberplate which must have gone up its arse as i couldnt find it. It was a massive impact.
One month later my cousin hit one at what he claims was 55mph in a tdi golf. He had to replace the front bumper, intercooler, radiator, one headlight, and front panel. Who says VW are well made lol.
Hope you get it sorted without too much hassle.

Dangerous,

I have been offered another, but if that doesnt pan out, I will take you up on the offer. Cheers

Just had a look in the daylight, and I reckon that the rear wing must have hit a post. I remember it now sliding backwards along an embankment we came to a sudden stop. there is/was a post there. I didnt hang around long enough to find out.
