Well the supe`s been in envy now for almost a fortnight, kev told me it was a piston travelling to high, the rest of the motor is on the shop floor!!
I did have a gander at thoose racing hart rims on the floor in the corner......... Some more credit card therapy me thinks!! Hopefully will have it back on the road, sounding sweet with the nur spec zorst on i hope. Any1 got one of these fitted to an NA, full system fully decatted??

We'll get there Carl
We've fitted lot's of Nur's to N/A's now and they sound amazing, I would say better than the TT (don't know why! If you de-cat as well it'll be loud, real loud. Gaz.

Gaz, I've just ordered a Blitz nur spec r for mine from TLM in Worcester, to go onto my TT (decated)
I told the man at the counter I want it louder than it is but not mega loud The man at the counter said and I quote "it won't be that loud". ? ?Should I take my earplugs with me? Anyone got a picture of one of these fitted to a stock Supra? |

Turbos will sound a little quiter than an NA as the turbo is between the exhaust and engine.
J-Spec and no cats, do you have a restrictor ring as well?

If you have a decat any larger than 2.5" in diam. you'll need a 2.5" restrictor ring to limit boost pressure to 1.2bar either wise you may suffer what's called boost creep.
Any traders on here will be able to supply one for just a few pounds.

well i got the good news today, new short block WAS req`d, total in excess of 5k inc exhaust, but thanks to Kev & Gaz, they have found me a 2nd N/A engine with 30k on it. Woo hoo, only 1400 quid, Kev said it`ll be near 3500 otr. w/o exhaust.
Pricey, but hey, at least its fixed.
