That's not good Cass

Looks like you'll be shopping for a new rear bumper as well now.

Don't quote me on this but it looks like the retainers on the sides may have been fitted the wrong way round. I believe the threads sticking out on your last picture should go the other way ie. towards the front of the car and the nuts be on the inside, also where are the nuts anyway? ? ?

I've tried to double check with the info i have to hand but none of the pics are clear enough.

If needs be i'll confirm before your new bumper is attached.

woah...sorry to hear about your bumper

tbh it might be worth calling about as I`m sure a decent bodyshop could fix that as the tears don`t look too bad from the pics..

I saw a Do-Luck front which was pretty badly smashed up, repaired so you`d never know.

Sh1t man. That's not good news. Hope you can get it sorted fairly cheaply.

How fast were you going?

Cass feel for you fella

There was a big thread on .net about these rear ends coming off at high speeds, I seem to recall the retaining brackets, or lack of them, where brought into question.

Very best of luck with sorting it out.

Those fixings on the bumper must have been really loose.
