Oilman
I have a 1996 Supra NA, with approx 43k miles on the clock.
It is coming up to a service in the next week or so, and I am wanting to get some quality oil from yourself if possible.
I have only owned the car a day (yes really), so have absolutely no idea what to order!!

Can you suggest something that I should order from you? I will be using the car through winter (will this effect your advice??).... and am prepared to pay for the best stuff if it will improve things.....

Thanks in advance!

Nick

Nick,

Would recommend 10w-40 or 10w-50.

Look at the specs on these products which are proper synthetics if you want to use the best quality product.

Silkolene PRO S 10w-50
Motul 300V 10w-40

If any one is interested in a "group buy" for oils then let me know and I'll post something up to get one started.

Cheers
Simon

Thanks Oilman....
I would like to place an order with you regarding the Silkolene stuff you recommended - will place an order Monday probably...

One thing though - I have had a look at your site and have absolutelty no idea how much I would need for an average service to my Supra plus some spare for topping up....

Any suggestions as to an amount (that isnt too large)

Regards

Nick

Depending on the year 4.4 or 5 litres.

It's cheaper to buy 10L anyway.
