Cool A few New Parts.

As some of you may remember I had my cam gears chromed before they were fitted during the engine rebuild. I've always wanted to have them on show but I've never been keen on exposing the gears, incase anything got in to the area where the cam belt is. This meant only one proper solution, a Lexan (Clear) spark plug cover . I spoke to Dusty at MVP and got a price. As with most parcels from over seas the initial cost is high but adding additional parts doesn't increase the cost too much, so I bought the following:

I spend about a hour with brilliant metal polish then fitted a few parts:

I'm going to paint the new cover once I work out what exactly I'm going to leave clear. I know it's quite a bit of money for non essensial items but I think it sets the bay off nicely.

I also treated myself a few weeks back to a set of bumper grills. I've always thought something was missing, and as I don't6 have a FMIC I thought this would do the job:

My parts from Demon Tweeks turned up aswell. I just need to sort out my custom air box and use this to allow cold air to enter the box:

You'll also notice some 'P' clips in the above picture. I bought these as I wanted to support a black piece of conduit, which has been left floating since the removal of the stock twins. Here's a picture of the clip bolted the the water pump:

Here's a picture of the duct for the oil cooler and the hose separators I just got from the states. I need to get a bracket made for the cooler and sort the ducting out, then I'll be ready for an oil change:

I must admit I wouldn't mind a few things like that in my engine bay.
the dip stick is bling

perhaps next time you order something from dusty we can get a bulk buy going

Those bits look good mate.

Hey that's a pretty good idea. If we're ordering from somewhere where the initial cost is high but ordering extra bits isn't too bad then getting several order packaged together and sharing the delivery costs sound like a great idea.

Some tasty looking bits of kit there Kev, will be interested to see what they look like fitted..... especially the grill parts.

Agreed, possible combining of orders could be a good, workable idea.

Kev,

Where did you get the grill parts from? I desperately need to sort the front of mine out as there's nothing there at the moment.....

Looks great btw!

The reason I never asked about was because I was already in discussion with Dusty over the Spark plug cover and only added the other parts as a last minute cost saving I knew that if I would've asked about it would've taken a good few weeks by the time everyone got to read the thread, sort out what they wanted and sorted out payment. I'll plan my next order and let you guys know. PM on it's way Mr. Angry

I understand Kev, the bling was an impulse buy
