I think it can be left but you can't run too much power through the 5 speed box. This limits you once you want to increase the power of the stock TT IMO. I agree with what you're saying Dunk and it's definately the best way to go, but some people get attatched to their car which is why some people go the NA-TT route IMO

I understand why people would want to go this route but for me personally i wouldnt.

If you want 400 hp get a tt, plain and simple, what will the na be worth by the time the xs power stuff is fitted ? lol

ok,put it this way for the manual tt i will pay at list about 4k
and for the project i have now is 94 na manual in need of some bodywork,but will do a full respray anyway,so far the car it self cost me 1000 pounds,i will spend 400 on respray..my mate will do it for me)thats 1400 with newly resprayed body+ the turbo kit and all bits and bobs i bought 1000....so it makes 2400 for the car with excellent bodywoork and single turbo conversion,,even if it will have 350-400 genuine horse power,that still 1500 pounds cheaper than to buy a average condition tt manual...of course i would like to get a tt,but at present,will do this one up ...,by the way i also have 300zx tt with some light mods,will be going to santa pod on 18th to see the results...,and the rx7 which thinking to do a single turbo on it,and finaly the gto tt,so plenty of projects in mind,,,but personaly think that supras are the best of all this stock...

What brakes is it running? Wheels, tyres and suspension?

As others have said mate. Send it all back or sell it on. The XS Power stuff is really bad. The manifolds have been known to crack, the wastgate ports inside the collector have been to small causing the turbo to overboost. Wastegates have been known to stick. Turbos have cracked and are poorly sized/specced for the 2JZ.
You will make your car so unreliable you will get p****d off with it.

If you do want to turbo the n/a i would personally look at the Boostlogic n/a T kit. It will set you back alot more than the XS Power stuff, but at the end of the day you get what you pay for.
