Well, at the 11th hour (or thereabouts) I can confirm that our project IS200 with big twin 2JZ will deffo be at JAE. The car runs well, although further mapping is required to finish.

The unit looks quite at home I feel:

And, sorry to picture-whore, but Simon (the builder) is so, so proud of the car that when I said I could post his pic with the car on the Mk4 list he nearly wept there and then. So here you are. The youngster is a genius. Even more amazing when the only tool he has is the hammer

Snug indeed! Giving Simon ?6.7K's worth of turbo kit to cut up into little pieces and completely re-design around the IS200 steering column, firewall and inner wing was scary. The boy done good though.

TDI themselves will not be showing at JAE. Thankfully, we simply have more work than we can handle at the moment as it is. The car will be shown at the Lexus Owners Club stand, and may also be at Jap Perf mag stand.

Yes, just to re-iterate the installation looked very OEM, apart from the two *uck off big turbo's bolted on the side.

Cheers

It seems many people are impressed with the OE-ness of it all, which is just what we wanted to present.

Shame I didn't get a drive before it went to Germany

Hopefully I'll get a go when it comes back- the guy is English but is a soldier based in Germany at the mo so he needed to register it over there or something- all a bit messy it seems and I hope it works out for him.
