Hi Guys.

Concerning the AV on J-Specs, you are I am afraid quite right. The insurer for this facility has withdrawn from motor insurance! Yes you read that right. They have found motor insurance to be such a loser financially so they are withdrawing from writing business in the UK with immediate effect in total. No worries about validity of insurance or anything as this insurer is very solvent. It is just they can't make money at today's rates.

No negatives to the Supras or J-spec etc, just their overall position on motor was loss making so they made the generic decision to pull the plug!

So the bare facts are we do not have anyone that will give AV on any grey imports..... But as you can imagine I am trying to replace this facility. As yet to no avail.

A half way house is that I can probably give AV on any J spec that has had a rebuild, repaint or substantial make over......... best I can do at the moment.

We are looking at each J-spec renewal as it comes up to see what we can do to accomodate.

We are as p***ed off as you, belive me!

Be in touch when I can offer more. If any one wants to chat just give the office number a call and I will be pleased to talk.

All the best everyone.

Jason

It's gone down from last year and although I haven't shopped around yet, I very much doubt it will be beaten.

Funny, because just before I woke up to retrieve this particular mail from the postbox I'd dreamt my renewal had come through and it was 2.5 times that of the year before

Default Agreed value on JDM's

Just a quick post to let you all know that we have negotiated agreed value on JDM vehicles again.

Early days but the ink is just about dry on the agreement with a new insurer backer. As you know the current insurer is exiting from the motor market due to unfavourable results!

More detials to follow. But yipee is what I say!

Sincerely,

Jason
