hi there,
quick question, im having my kakamoto cat back exhaust fitted tomorrow. will i need to reset the ecu after fitting it?

if so, how is it done?

Not sure if it needs to be done but here's some instructions for doing it: -

Reset ECU

I'm pretty sure that's with the engine not running. Pull it with the engine running and I'll bet money that the engine soon stops.

No need to reset, but as Emma said won't hurt.

Where you change something on the car and you want the ECU to relearn all the timing and other engine parameters quicker than if it was left to do it in its own time. ie. putting in Optimax when you have been running normal unleaded,
