I've fitted Falkens to the rear of my car with no problems wet or dry, but I don't push it in the wet.
I read a long term test of them and they do let go suddenly in the wet.

I had Falkens fitted to my MKII Supra and thought they were pretty good, granted it wasn't as powerful but they did seem good value for money in terms of performance they offered.
Bit of a worry if they suddenly let go as Stephen mentioned though.
