Default blow off valves

guys,i have been looking at blow off valves and hoped that you could help me with a few enquires.there seem to be a few types ive seen mainly the blitz version and the hks ssq does the blitz valve mount on the throttle body side of things? and am i right in thinking that the hks bov mounts in place of the original valve above the turbos? secondly is fitting the valve something i can do at home and are there instructions with the kit which make this clear to do ??

thanks james

I can't comment on the Blitz but the HKS can be bought with a supra specific fixing kit which allows it to be mounted to the stock position and I'm sure you could fit it at home. If you got the universal kit it should come with a weld on flange (if not one can be bought). I have used this method as I'm now single, but I know a few other people who have gone this route and either mounted it to the throttle body where the traction control was or to the hardpipe kit.

I'm not really sure, that doesn't sound too bad. There's a new style out so make sure you check before hand. You might be able to get a great price on last years model if that's what you prefer. Have you tried THOR racing?

I have the Blitz valve, came with a fitting kit so it replaced the stock valve. Fitted it after work no problems.
