When I recently bought my 94 Supra, the previous owner had rigged up a Kenwood amp and Boxed Sub, but the box is too big and the sub is knackered. Does anyone know of a 'flat' boxed sub that will fit under the rear cover so I won't need to keep taking it out?

i have a uk twin turbo which I fitted an amplified Sony xplod bass box in my boot. It allows me to run the standard system to capacity without distortion and the bass is incredible. The unit fits perfectly under the rear blind. The box works off the rear speakers in the car and for the price, the result is fantastic.

Hi I know this is an old thread but I'm really interested in seeing the picture of the Xplod Sub etc but can't seem to access the one that's here.

Do you mean under the cover in the boot?..I've got a tube fitted in the gully directly behind the rear seat. Have to lose the polystyrene jobby though. Carpet just fits back over the top..neat.

i dont know what sort of system you want but you can get a lot into the boot without removing the blind
i have 2x 12" 2000 watt subs 2x 2000 amps 4x sony 6x9's 2x 5" jbl Component Speakers and a crossover system it took some time but it sounds amazing i tryed removing the spare wheel and fitted a 15" sub but all i got was a lot of distortion i recomend you keep the spare wheel in as this gives you a better sound and not alot of vibration |
