Magazine Photoshoot for SDISTC
Well, I'm a long time lurker here and I've enjoyed following the progress of Kevin O.'s build so much I thought I'd post up some recent pictures taken of my own Supra.
Cliff's notes: 1998 RZ, built VVTi 3.0L with Garrett GT42R turbo plus assorted goodies (triple plate carbon clutch, Autronic EMS, 264 exhaust cam) making 519 wheel kW @ 25 psi on 98 octane pump fuel, and 620 kW @ 31 psi on race fuel. And now to the photos: Hope you enjoy them - I'll be heading to Old Blighty in the next few months for work, and I may even be persuaded to buy a Supra over there if everything goes well |

A very warm welcome to the club.
Interesting and a very nice looking Supra you have there, to my eyes it's screaming out for side skirts though. BTW.......how about sending us some of that sun that you lot seem to be blessed with

Thanks for the compliments, guys
And Barney, we're actually having a bit of a heatwave in the South-East of Australia so I'm sure most of the Victorians and South Australians would be glad to trade weather at the moment |

You're kidding, right?!? Kev, your OCD-like attention to detail coupled with your clarity of purpose, patience and commitment to high quality parts can only mean that your engine bay will be nearly perfect when it's finished to your satisfaction.
Thanks for the compliments though I hope to meet some of you while I'm working there, and see these awesome beasts first hand! |
