Default Oil leak

My supe's having a fairly bad oil leak currently, which after a post on here and a few mates suggestion, was assumed to be from the seal at the front of the crank. However, after having it up on some ramps, it seems it's coming from a sensor on the right hand side of the engine block underneath the inlet manifold. It looks like I might have to remove the air con compressor to have a good look, unless anybody can suggest a shortcut?

If its near the aircon compressor then that's most likely the oil pressure switch and i believe they have been known to leak in the past, but not massive quantities.

Worth a look and it may yet be a cheap repair.

Sorry no short cuts for removing\access that i know of.

Just taken it to Mr toyota today, they're going to repair it for the fair charge of ?150 inc parts, which I thought was ok.

Just Ordered New coilovers and brakes (and a few other bits) from whifbitz too ...

Have Toyota confirmed where the oil leak is coming from?

No, but last night I had the car up on a ramp at a friendly merc garage, and It was obvious from that angle where it was coming from
