Default Gear knobs galore...

Is there anybody here that could modify a gear knob for me???

my dad bought a new Nismo/Tomei gearknob for his R32 GTR and he gave me his old Greddy gear knob which is really nice and id like to fit it to my supe...

the problem is the threaded bit on the skyline where the knob screws onto is a smaller diameter than that of a supe...

theres plenty of material to take away on the knob as i guess there made universally and drilled/ threaded for the diff applications..

is there anybody out there with the ability/equipment to reem/drill the knob out to the correct diameter and cut the correct thread for the supe in it??

sorry this is so long just had to make sure people understood what i was on about....

Any local machine shop should be able to do that for you.

They may need your old gear knob or to measure the thread on the end of your gear stick to do it. It's not a hard job at all, especially if as you say there is plenty of material there.

Because you are in South Wales it may be worth hooking up with Baz (Mad Welshman) as i know he works in a place with those facilities. If not just look in your yellow pages for a local machine shop.
