MKIV Virgin
Hi Folks,
I'll be the proud owner of a 94 jap import RZ Twin Turbo come Friday and I can't wait!! I'm searching round trying to find the jap spec for this car i.e. BHP, Torque and any other general points worth knowing on it, so if anyone can enlighten me I'd be very grateful. The car's immaculate and has been in this country for past 10 years and has only had 2 owners the last for the past 7 years, so it's been well looked after and still very standard other than a cat back exhaust and an induction kit ... it even has it's original stereo (don't know if that's a good thing). The car is still restricted to 120MPH, which suggests she's hasn't had a hard life which leads me to me next question, if I did want to unlimit this (if,yeah right!!), who can I take it to here in Scotland to get that done? I'd also be interested in getting the car dyno'ed to make sure everything is as it should be. It ceratainly feels right but not having any experience of these cars I'd like it given the once over, again any suggestions where to go would be welcome. Cheers, Omlaysause! |

For de-rsitricting it I think the best bet would be to buy a de-limiter from Thor as they seem to be the best and you shouldnt have any problems with it afterwards like some reports on the other products out there, and then get someone local to you to fit it......
Not sure if we have any Scottish members here that could help you more ?? |

Hi Omlaysause , welcome to the supra. A couple of places not too far away from yourself are :-
1) Calder Racing Developments on 01506 885500 -East Caulder 2) Torque performance on 01698 422260 - Hamilton Both of these specialise in supra's - no doubt there are more that other users will hopefully come up with. hope to see you at future meetings Cheers Ian |

Dunk cheer up mate
this is the mkiv supra empty wallet club If its not going wrong (which is usually the case) you will spend money you don,t have on mods thats the way it is omlaysause you will probably start to develop hard skin on your hands too this is because you will be endlessly cleaning it Also another affliction that affects us supra owners is when you have locked your car and are walking away you will get an irresistible desire to turn around and admire the car this is fine problems start when you go outside just to look at your pride and joy I,m sorry we should of told you about the side effects sooner |
