I'd switch the Apex'i stuff for an eManage...but that's me.

Would that setup work well? Seems like a cheap but good way of going single

It would work. It is not the ideal setup. But it gets you single with some nice power as well. You can improve and add to the setup as you go along.

I would be careful on stock fuel though, that setup certainly pushes the limits on 23psi.

So for that basic setup i would have to buy

SP63 Turbo Kit
Apexi SAFC
Apexi ITC
RPS Stage 3 Clutch

Anything else? I might just buy that kit, get it up and running then upgrade fuel and ecu as i go, and as the UK gets more knowledge of the emanage etc...

I'd go with the Powerhouse Racing kits, I'm fitting a street kit on a VVTi Supra in around 3 weeks time, cant wait to find out what that can do on there.
I had a stage 1 single on my car for about a year and have had a stage 2+ on there for about 2 years now. Stage 1 used to hit full boost around 3600rpm and around 650bhp on 1.9 bar so is very useable for everyday stuff. The stage 2+ I run now comes on song around 4200rpm but gives out around 800bhp on normal fuel 1.8 bar boost(921bhp race fuel), not as driveable as the stage 1 down low but as I have a built engine it can go to 8500rpm, so the power band is pretty big if needed.
If your using the car everyday go with the stage 1 though, thats more than enough for most people, if you do get bored you can always upgrade to a bigger turbo at a later date.

Cheers
Paul

Think i'd also ditch the Apexi stuff on Steve's list and go for a MAP ECU or E-Manage and an additional boost controller (maybe the AVC-R but its not my favourite).

The ITC and S-AFC whilst probably giving reasonable results don't really stack well against the Emanage or MAP for features and cost.

Bit of a secret at the moment that one Alex, all will be revealed when its fitted, I think it'll be a first though for the VVTi.
