We should certainly think carefully how we want to lay out the cars. We want to welcome people into the club area.

how about being really cheesy?! we only need 23 cars by my calculations to spell out MSOC in soops......

Did it at Vanfest with VW campers and had aerial photos taken which looked good....

Also I think we should have a prize for best silver, standard except alloys and BOV GZ model.... lol

Lets just have all the cars around the outside with the gazebow in the middle

That way we can get the cars out when we want and there will be easy parking too

what size stand are we having this year ?

I think we may need a a bigger plot as on sunday last year we seamed quite full and more people seem interested this year

If we do have best car.

Could we have best NA and best Turbo, I think it only fair as you could do more to a Turbo than an NA

What about cheapest mod that you've done? That works and isn't tacky?

Just a couple of ideas

I love that idea!!!! certainly unique. My concern is that if somebody left early it could spell something completely different!!! Lol but a good idea.

So we seem to like the idea of having gazebo(s) in the centre of the plot with the cars on the outside.

We will be having electricity supplied this year as well.

Come on everybody get your thinking caps on..

Someone at our stand could be responsible for keeping an eye out for what else is going on at JAE and keep other members informed. I personally missed out on quite a bit of the other stuff going on at JAE because I was totally focused on my car and the other club members (and having a few beers with them).

For example, if someone had mentioned that the drift competition was going on then I might well have gone over to see what was going on there.

After the storm last year we should have some sort of risk assessment and briefing so that we all know what to do when (if) something like that happens again.

Do we have anyone trained in first aid? Do we have a club first aid kit which is taken along to events?

Do we have enough members to put a team together for the tug-o-war?

I'd be up for that, it'd be a laugh. Plus we'd have a natural advantage of Baz "The Stella Swigging" Welshman to be our anchor-man.

Could we nominate our best car for the Show-And-Shine?

Then a team of us put in a couple of hours before the judging to totally detail the car to a high standard?
