11 MPG??
Are you sure there isn't a puddle of fuel under the car each morning, or serious smoke out the back when driving, because it's either leaking out or getting burned far too quickly, unless you're driving it very, very enthusiastically! How are you measuring consumption to get that figure? I ask because brimming a Supra to get a true MPG takes ages to do properly, as the last gallon or so has to be trickled in. |

MPG:
1. Brim your tank and reset your trip meter. Be aware that the last gallon might take a long time - watch the level of fuel in the filler neck. If it slowly sinks, keep going until the level is absolutely steady. My local garage knows me well, as it takes ages!! This might be a blockage in my breather pipe though. 2. Drive as normal until you need to fill up, then brim the tank and note the trip reading. 3. This gives you your total distance travelled M and your fuel used in litres f. Divide the fuel used by 4.546, which gives you fuel used in Gallons G. Then divide M by G = economy in Miles per Gallon. It's actually really simple. Note: if your odometer still reads km, just divide your MpG figure by 1.61 to convert from km to miles. |

Does figures i gave are fairley accurate, and if anything its doing less, i worked it out at around 11 miles per gallon, defo no petrol leakages she is parked on concrete whole time and there is no smell.
