New TT

guys ive just been to look at a 1995 jap tt for sale 70,000 miles ,im going to give it a full inspection with view to taking it away with me on saturday please could you point me towards any common faults associated with the jap tt ie leaky seals etc and general haggling points to watch out for your help will be appreciated!!

Go to the FAQ section from the main menu (not forum menu). There's a handy buyers guide that lists thing to look for. Good luck by the way.

In addition to that list in the FAQ i'd say because of the age of the cars nowadays you really need to be doing the traditional checks that you would do on any old car.

If you have any specific concerns then let us know and i'm sure we can give some guidance.

okay thanks martyn! ill get some pics on if all goes well too,the only thing could somone post apicture of an engine bay (TT) with the intercooler pipe removed turbo end so id know where to check if the turbo bearings were seeping oil ? as per FAQ section thanks james
