I was thinking of taking you up on the offer but you're way up North for me.
It's sunny and 16 degrees down here in Poole, so I think a trip to the beach is waiting.

Yeh i guess Poole is a bit of a trek up to here in the mids and theres no beaches for miles, had a great drive out just finding rds with nobody else on them, ended up at Thor who were having a club dyno day with skylines followed by some nice pps with Fto's etc, had a good chat with the guys there who are going to have my car on the dyno in the near future, nice place and pps and a free bag of chips as well.
Just had a loverly cold pint of Warsteiner and now im back home. Think we should try & get a mkiv.co.uk club meet organised for the future and have a BBQ or something, what do you guys think. Even a mkiv can squeeze a barbie in the boot with some food n drink.

It`s about 15 minutes from Junc 17 of the M1
very close to Rugby, I shall hopefully be negotiating us a few dates to choose from on saturday. It`s a hotel/restaurant owned and run a former supra owner carpark should have enough space for 20+ cars the restaurant does a lunch menu, but i`ll see if I can organise a BBQ there`s also a bar for anyone not driving If anyone is travelling far there is also accomodation available, but I`ll need to check the prices for anyone interested. lemme get some dates 1st which I can post up and we can see what the interest is like and take it from there... -c- |
