Default Current Insurance Claim

As you guys know I have two knackered wheels on my car, both caused by an incident with a tractor and a large lump of earth.

And here's what the insurance company have currently agreed to do.

They are going to settle on the wheels and send me a cheque for ?720 minus ?250 excess. I then go out and buy new rims (?450 plus ?30 delivery) and get my existing tyres fitted to them (?60 fitting). Then the insurance company are going to pay for an alignment (?100) to be done and pick the tab for any damage to the suspension caused by the accident.

All in all I'm fairly happy. I'm going to spend about ?70 and get a nice shiny new set of rims on my car.

The only question mark at the moment is whether there is a problem with my suspension that I cannot make the insurance company spring for. In this case I may have to spend more.

Next step is to get the claim filled in, get that to the insurance company and then get them to send me a cheque. The moment I have that cheque I'm going to be calling Ibrar and getting my wheels on order.
