i want to put some gauges in the passenger side air bag cover...can anyone tell me how i get this off? can i leave the air bag connected or will it need to be remmoved?

The airbag is connected to that front trim panel and comes as one big assembly.

You need to remove the glove box and then you can have a look up behind the panel, but i remember one of the fixings is quite hard to get to. Also make sure you have had the battery disconnected for a few hours before you start work.
