satnav.
cant remember if we been here before. i spend half my life trailing around in my vito van and because of the distances i travel tend to rely on my sat nav as an early warning system for potential speed trapsnow one thing i have noticed is that compared to the speedo reading on the sat nav the clock on the van reads fairly consistantly 5 mph more. the burning question is has any body any thoughts on which would be the most accurate.if i am travelling through a camera infested area i usually take more notice of the sat nav to be on the safe side

Have the car checked, either at a garage or against another car.

The SatNav will generally be more accurate, but sometimes they can have latency issues, ie. slow to update.

^^ What Martin said ^^
Every car I've ever used my satnav in has over read the speed by 5mph. So you're always going slower than your speedo tells you (a good thing with all these cameras about).

All vehicles will over read slightly. It's safer than telling you your going slower than you actually are and probably saves the companies from millions of litigation claims.
