Recommended Jacking Points
Generally I use the standard Toyota jack for jacking the car up but I now need to use my trolley jack and axle stands for more height to tackle a small amount of surface rust.
My question is: What are the best points both front and rear to use a trolley jack and also where to safely place axle stands?

The diff is ok to get at but the front cross member is a joke. Brake out the four foot long ultra low jack! lol
I normally use the suspension arms. 2 jacks, one from each side. |

I used to be able to get to the front cross-member with my bog standard Halfords jack.

Drive the car on to 1 inch high rather wide planks of wood at the front. That gets it a up a little. Then feed the trolley jack in from the front, under the side of the engine and then work the jack round so that it's in the correct place on the cross-member. Then insert the jacking handle under the car just behind the front wheel.
It's a bit fiddly but I used to do it all the time.

Thanks guys, and cheers Matt for the pic/diagram, just what I needed.
As I only have the one trolley jack I'm kind of stuffed in regard of the two jack suggestion but Matt's blocks of wood idea might be my best route. If you don't see me on here for a while, just assume I screwed up and I'm pinned under the car
