Windscreen washer
Is it just me or is the Supra windscreen washer pump the weediest thing ever?
Mine barely reaches the screen. I went in an A3 the other day and when the driver switched his on it was like a hose pipe. Is there a more powerful pump that will fit? |

I'm not so sure (at least in my case) that it's the pump, but the spray pattern is not as fine\good as modern cars.

Hi,
Try this as mine used to get blocked before. Remove the jets and expose the bare rubber pipes. Then fill the water reservoir and run the jets until the water runs out (you will need to catch the water if you dont want it going all over the floor.) I repeated this several times and could not believe the s**t that came out of the system. Upon replacing the jets the flow was a lot stronger and they have never blocked since. I suppose it's just down to the amount of debris that has accumilated over 13 years in my case. |
