Sold the Supra, but i'm not going anywhere...
After 2 years and plenty of great memories, I decided to bite the bullet and sell my UK spec. It's been an amazing car, but i found myself not using it as I also have a Corrado VR6 as a daily driver which is amazing fun on the road without the expense of 10-15mpg!
After alot of thinking I decided I wanted a well specified track orientated car that would also be competetive in drag racing and would do for the fast road work on weekends. I set myself a budget of £15 - 20K for the right car. I toyed with the idea of going single and making the car a much higher spec so it would be more suitable for trackdays, but I found it hard to justify the cost of doing this to an auto with 125k on the clock. In her current spec she's already a comfortable cruiser and a devastatingly quick fast road car. Thankfully the person who has bought it is non other than my housemate, and i'll still be insured to drive it (when he lets me!) I'm now looking for the right car,and think i've found it. After looking at porsches, tvrs, caterams, kit cars, evos, skylines etc, and weighing up the pros and cons, I knew that it had to be another Supra. Thankfully it hasn't taken me long to find the car I want. It's on its way from Japan now and the spec is (almost) perfect . The wait begins... I'll post some pics soon.

It's reserved for me now and i'm paying the deposit tommorow so I guess it's ok now. Exterior maybe a little OTT for my tastes but she certainly has it where it counts!
http://www.jm-imports.co.uk/cardetai...8/supra21.html I hope your Supras just as immaculate as ever Rob! How are things going with the house?

Hopefully! I'm goin to be doing a few bits to the car like tidying up those gauges, boost controller etc, and fitting a pair of black reclining Recaros I have sat in my garage.

That looks pretty cool mate
All I would do to the outside is stick a standard supra rear wing on it bit of polishing in the engine bay and not only have you got a track car you have a show car as well The supra is fine. I have taken off the stick on carbon fibre dash because some git had tried to peel it off when I was at a show last year and it was starting to look pants. The house. Just finished the kitchen, just got the hallway to do, the utility room, bedroom to do, electrics in the garage. garden to sort ..................... |

I'm not sure about the spoiler. Definately too OTT for road use, although I think it might look quite potent at the track. I'll probably get either a std or TRD style spoiler for it and just swap over when required.
Not too sure about the wheels either, although I have a set of 19" braid split rims in gold with silver edges which I think would look great. Just have to see how the car handles on them before I decide.
