Warped Discs
Had a couple of hard braking occasions at reasonable speed with cold brakes which have warped my discs a little bit.
Not noticeable in normal driving mode but get a bit of heat into them from braking reasonably hard at reasonable speed and you start to feel the judder coming through. Any thoughts on skimming them? Not sure how they would behave now they have been warped when pushed hard. I’d be looking to do an odd track day (noting the discs have behaved impeccably pushed hard) and concerned skimming might not be the best way to go if I treat the brakes hard again. The discs hardly show any wear. Purely on a cost point its £78 to skim or £325 for new front discs. Thank you

Hmmm tough call.
Can't talk from experience of how successful skimming would be, but if I was in your shoes think i'd give it a go first before forking out for new disks. Before you take them off, and if you have a dial gauge, may be worth making 100% sure they are warped and it's not pad material which has deposited itself on the disk.
