I know its been talked about before on other Forums but what technique to people use to get the best lauch out of their 6 speed.
I tend to turn the racelogic off (Elvington) rev to about 2.5 -3 thousand RPM then ease the clutch out while pressing the loud pedal gently down at the same at the same. With this method I seamed to be running consistant 13.1 to 13.2 1/4's. Whats everybody else do?

Let the air out of your (rear) tyres and repeat your above technique.
18psi is all you need in them.

Im unsure exactly how to launch my beast, especially now as it has the dual friction clutch by Leon. I have heard some clutches its best to just dump the clutch straight in, thank you very much, there you go.........or with others its best to ease it in gradually.
Now I know what my clutch likes and dis-likes, and being held inbetween or at biting point makes the thing grate like a tractor going over a cattle grid. Does anyone have any pointers for me using a dual friction clutch........ |
