Club car insurance 15% off
I have negotiated a discount with an Insurance Brokers specialising in motor insurance.
The brokers deal with high performance cars and cater for the enthusiast We will get 15% off the normal price of the insurance however you MUST let them have your MKIVSupra.co.uk membership number to obtain this discount. They recommend having an agreed value on your vehicle, no business use, ideally the Supra should be a second car, garaged and cover less than 7,500 miles per annum (this is where they are going to be competitive) They also guarantee in the event of an accident, as long as the car is not deemed to be dangerous (cannot remember what category that is at the moment) you WILL be able to buy the car back. If you have an agreed value then the costs of any modifications will be covered. Only available to drivers aged 25 and over. The website is http://www.livingstones-insurance.co.uk Telephone Number 0870 1203897 Any of the people you speak to should be able to take your details, you need to make sure you ask for a Cherished Car quote. I have spoken to Jason Livingstone - senior partner and he is very knowledgeable with cars, also as a car enthusiast himself he knows the importance of good insurance, lets give them a go and see what we get. |

If you go to 'Your Control Panel' and then click on 'Personal Info' and then 'Edit your profile' the membership number is displayed on that form.
Just a reminder, its important for you to have completed your correct First Name & Surname (the bits in red) and also agreed to the Disclosure question (also in red) otherwise we will not pass on your details to the third parties for you to obtain discounts from.

My insurance isn't up until March 05, so no panic right now. It would be good to have another number to call that might actually be sensible.
So yes... thanks.

They provide all sorts of insurance (household as well) but provide specialised insurance for high performance cars, their cherished policies.
So to answer your question you should be able to take one of their normal car policies and then obtain members discount, obviously you will need to let them know you are a member of this club and let them have your membership number.

Sinbad, I have had an email from them and unfortunately they do not cover NI, as we have a few members in NI perhaps I will see what other insurance companies can do for us.,
