Over the years some people have tried non OEM wiper blades and complained of wiper lift at speed.

Personally I would buy Toyota originals, certainly the replacement insert weren't expensive.

I bought mine direct from Toyota as I`d about the non-OEM ones lifting at speed too..

just not worth the risk IMO running anything else but the OEM.

as for the blades I just get halfrauds generic blades and cut to fit...

I found silicone blades to be very good.

I had the same problem with lifting at speed and I bought some Bosch ones with wind deflectors on at ?20 per set from Halfords. I drove on motorway at 140mph to test and they worked a treat!!

LOL, Can only imagine the coppers face if you tried to tell him you were trying to see if your windscreen wipers were up to the job at 140.

I know my luck is running out and only had the car 5 months. I try to be more careful, but it is so easy to go way over the speed limit in the Supra, so will be keeping a close eye on my speed dial from now on. I doubt the cops would buy that somehow either. Perhaps if I flashed a bit of leg it may help??
