That's some good work there Kev, if a little tedious.

I've had a similar issue when I installed a second hand RLTC for somebody and it ended up being one of the female connections on the RLTC plug had opened up too far and wasn't making a good connection. May want to look at all the RLTC connection pins when you do your re-work, just in case.

Thanks Martin. I'm thinking about removing the poorly designed connectors completely. I know the joints into the ABS wires are good, so it's only these connections that are causing me grief.
They are a b*gger to undo aren't they?

Seems like you may have thankfully made some progress there Kev, can't help admire your patience with all of this as it must be bloody frustrating. I guess it's part and parcel of modding.

Best of luck with the work, hope it proves successful in fixing the problem.

All soldered and working. I can't see any reason why my car won't be there at Japfest
