B'ham - Monaco is 1000 miles,
at 25 mpg = 40 gallons
which at say £5 per gallon = £200
so Monaco and back with some fun inbetween would cost about
£500 in fuel
£50 tunnel
£??? wine
£??? food
£??? hotels
£??? tolls
£???????????? speeding tickets

I'm going to ask my boss when he gets off holiday, if I can go unpaid. My MPG should be better than yours as I only have one turbo not two

The way i see it is, it'll cost approx £1000 dependant on a few variants to drive to the south of France and back.

I think some research is required into hotel costs on route as thats the next biggy after fuel, and no im not camping

+£??Lots?? speeding fines from French Rozzers!

Those smooth French autoroutes are just too tempting and it's not like Italy where I was actually told to speed up by the Police in no uncertain terms!

Ive edited my post to include speeding fines

Perhaps 20 mpg is more realistic ?
