Default question about tyre sizes

can i put a 285 tyre onto a 9-9.5 alloy.

will it cause any rubbing etc????

need an answer quickly. thanks baz

9'' Definately not

9.5'' im not too sure, I recall hearing of 285's on a 9.5, however mine are 9.5 and i run 265's on them.

Just a thought Baz, assuming 285's are more expensive and you are selling, why not just go for the cheaper(?) 265?

reason being, ive been offered some p zero part worns for a very good price. alot cheaper than i can get some 265 for.

was hoping to save myself some money.
