Strange rattle...

As the title says, my car has developed a strange rattle.

The rattle occurs when you accelerate, starts at around 2,500 to 3000 rpms (the point when the turbos spool up) also if you are pulling revs like above. E.g. the other day I shifted into 2nd at 40/50mph without foot on gas the noise was audible.

Liquid levels are fine and the car drives as normal, could this be wear on the turbo shaft or something more serious???

Idle off throttle in Drive gear the car is fine with only the injectors noticeable
when idle and exhaust and road noise when in motion... As usual.

The noise is like the the old playing card in the bicycle spokes rattle, except more metallic and less spokes.
