Did that include an agreed value?
Just to add that the covering letter that came with the proposal form said they cannot do agreed value on imports. I have clarified this with Livingstones and it is only UK specs that get an agreed value policy

UPDATE

Have been contacted by Livingstones to say that they have now managed to negotiate some further benefits/discounts with the underwriters.

One of the main ones being that they can now offer agreed value on Jap spec cars in 'selected cases'. Please don't ask me what the 'selected cases' are, ask when you speak to them about a quote and see if they can do an agreed value in your case.

As a club we will be trying to work with Livingstones to help them on the agreed value side of things, as i know from bitter experience how valuable this benefit can be.

As an aside i asked them what type of drivers their new benefits will be most beneficial to, and the answers are :

Car is Garaged
Car is Immobilised
Supra is not your only car
Limited Mileage
Driver has experience of high power cars
Car is modded but not excessively (can't help with big bodykits etc)

This doesn't mean to say they won't be competitive if for example the Supra is your only car, its just they will be more competitive if it is your second car.

Give them a call on 08701 203897 and see what they can do for you. Don't forget your membership number.

Hiya people!!

Having looked on this site and seeing this thread I decided to give them a ring. Thought it definately couldn't do any harm. Spoke to a friendly consultant regarding my car which has quite a few mods :-

FMIC
Full De-cat
Oil Cooler
SSQV BOV
Induction
Alloys
Side Skirts
Front Nose Cone
Interior Gauges

I am 26 with FNCB and the car is garaged. It is however my everyday car and milage would be just under 10k per year.

They took my details and then came back to me the next business day with a brilliant quote over ?200 cheaper than anywhere else!! and ?600 cheaper than my current insurers!!

Would definately recommend anyone who wants cheaper insurance to give them a call.

Cheers

u're telling me!!!

Only snag was (and this is with my current insurance and not Livingstones) is that they wanted a months payment as penalty for cancelling my policy which runs out in 2 months!! so they had me over a barrel!

However, as soon as my insurance runs out I will be cancelling with my insurers / robbin barstewards and getting some insurance with Livingstones!!

They were extremely helpful, polite, rung when they said they would etc! and seemed genuinely happy to give me a cheap quote on a powerful motor!!

Top stuff!!!

Cheers

Well that is excellent news, looks like the MKIV Supra Owners Club insurance is working out well.

And you get all of the benefits and discounts for free

Has anyone tried a HIGHLY modified Supra? I'm talking the whole hog Big Single and accompanying mods, Front Bumper and 18" rims, TRD Skirts...
Do they give a discount for a Tracker?
If the other criteria, garaged, low mileage, etc are met will a Sup with mega mods will anyone be insureable, especially if the owner is used to the car?
