Camera Suction Mount
I just got this from one of our suppliers (we use a lot of glass lifting equipment, and they do these as well)
Really chuffed Going to have a play now Spec Durable, black polycarbonate accessory mount with fully adjustable pan-and-tilt head. Mounts cameras, scopes and camcorders with standard 1/4-20 thread. Provides a reliable, temporary vacuum mount, without drilling holes. Rubber vacuum pad will not mark or damage most surfaces. Attaches to flat or curved, smooth, nonporous surfaces. Red-line indicator warns user of any vacuum loss. Check valve allows repumping without loss of remaining vacuum. Lift tabs on vacuum pad edges permit instant release. Supplied with vacuum pad protector. Vacuum Pad: Concave, 4-1/2" [11 cm] diameter (model LJ45) Minimum Radius for Curved Mounting Surface: 12” [305 mm] Load Capacity: 10 lbs [5 kg] per vacuum cup

Nothing too expensive!!
I'm using an old Sony5mp, not that i want it broken. I'll look at getting something small, cheap and with reasonable video capability.... Just in case a stone takes a liking. Any thoughts? PS. they all lived (there were 3 of the little blighters!)
